Sailed through Atlanta like it wasn’t even there. Beautiful looking city. No traffic at 8 in the morning on a Saturday. Heading for Savannah where I’ll be boarding the train back to NYC. Might get a chance to stop at a bookstore in Macon if we make good time.
Our little backwoods campsite turned out to be right beside a busy freight line. Those trains sounded like they were going to come right through the trailer! Luckily they stopped blowing their horns after 11pm so it was a restful night.
While I am looking forward to going back home, I wouldn’t mind if this roadtrip lasted a few more days. I’ve met so many amazing people including many fantasy readers. Turns out there are a lot of us out there.
