Born today at 00h01 in North America to proud, single author, Ashes of a Black Frost, The Iron Elves series, weighed in at a hefty 440 pages with a glorious cover and binding. The proud author had this to say about the delivery: “I don’t know what women complain about, I was in labor for two years!”
In lieu of cigars, the author simply requests well-wishers share in his joy and enjoy the story. He’s already busy procreating his next book.
I’m a day late, but I found it. Was thinking about using it as an award for making my next word count goal, but then I remember the state of disarray the characters were left in, and couldn’t resist taking a peek. And what do you know I’m already sucked in. Oh well, guess I’ll just have to devour it now. Good luck with the sales!
Hi, Roy:
That’s great to hear. I’m trying to do the same with Terry Pratchett’s newest book and hold off reading it until I get some tasks done, but the temptation is making it difficult!
Cheers,
Chris
